UK Tier 1 Visa is one of the most popular investor programs in the world. The program attracts hundreds of investors each year, thanks to the benefits it offers. The program is also attractive as it’s a route to UK citizenship.

In this article, we’ve brought together statistics regarding the UK Tier 1 Visa applications. We’ve added statistics on the nationalities that have been issued with a Tier 1 Visa.

UK Tier 1 Investor Visa: Year-by-Year Statistics

The below chart shows the number of visas issued for main applicants and their dependents each year. The data for 2021 excludes Q4 which is to be declared soon.

As you can see, although there has been a fall in numbers in some years, the program has kept attracting investors.

The below chart displays the nationalities that have been issued with a UK Tier 1 Visa. China dominates the chart, followed by Russia. US Citizens make up six percent of the distribution.
