Malta Citizenship By Investment Application
- Prepare the required documents, including legalized IDs, proof of source of wealth, official forms, and property or lease registration.
- Submit your Maltese residence application to obtain the residency permit.
- Travel to Malta to provide your biometrics.
- Collect your residence card once the process is completed.
- Prepare a detailed proposal letter outlining your background, contribution plan, and long-term ties to Malta.
- Submit the proposal as part of your application process.
- The Agency conducts initial due diligence, including background, source-of-wealth, and compliance checks.
- An independent Evaluation Board reviews your proposal.
- The Board then recommends approval to the Minister.
- The Minister issues a Letter of Approval in Principle after the evaluation.
- Submit your citizenship application with proof of at least eight months of legal residence in Malta, investment, property, and established ties.
- Undergo a second due diligence check.
- Receive your final Letter of Approval.
- Take the Oath of Allegiance.
- Obtain your Maltese passport.
