Hi there. What are the rules under the D7 visa regarding travel and possible work in and around the Schengen block? Obviously the Schengen is ‘borderless’ so is it possible to move around without extra visa requirements? I’m a freelancer, who works remotely but on occasion have to attend client sites.

I am non EU national and living and working in Czech Republic at the moment. I locked my SEF file under section 88 and wishing to secure a work permit to relocate to Portugal. Plus I have sufficient amount of saving (more than whats the requirement as passive income) in a non EU country as Fixed Deposit and I am willing to transfer it to Portugese Bank if I get eligible under D7.
